The new Super Secret Service Centre (SSSC) is up and running and ready for your bikes in need of a little, or a lot of, #moreawesomer attention.
The shop has gone to a transportation/visit model to further ensure quicker and more reliable service to your bikes. I want to make make sure your bikes get an even #moreawesomer outcome. So, by limited scheduled pickups and services per day, you can be sure your bicycle is getting the same attention I give my own bikes, and that it will seriously minimize downtimes without your bike. You can book your pickup request online now, but you can always text, call or email to schedule as well. Looking forward to getting back to it.... Brandon

SHOP IS OPEN DURING THE COVID19 HEIGHTENED AWARENESS SITUATION BUT WITH A FEW CHANGES & REQUESTS The Shop will remain open… we all want to be able to de-stress and stay healthy through self isolation on the road or the trails, but I will make a few changes to protect you, your family, myself and my family too. I would ask that you call in/book online your visit to the shop. This way I can coordinate having limited individuals in the shop at any given time, and clean entry, exit and other touch surfaces after every client visit. As such, if you arrive outside a booking the door may be locked until I finish with clients in the store, just have a wait, I will clean surfaces and let you in asap after the current clients leave! So… Here are my Requests
Thank-you to everyone for your understanding and continued support... I will do all I can to make sure we all keep riding! The Titan is Banshee's new kid on the block, but make no mistake it is not a thrown together boy band looking for quick number 1 hits... this thing is properly awesome for its intended crowd! Now, I only have a few rides on this thing, I am but a lowly Punter, but i have noticed a few things, and it also unexpectedly surprised me with a PB on my second day out! Carbon not your thing... don't worry, @INCEPTIONSPEEDSHOP has you covered! Banshee has always been #MOREAWESOMER, and they just one new bike and updated another. I give you the New TITAN and the Updated RUNE... new suspension kinematics to improve on the already amazing KS system and... frames hold a water bottle now too!!!!
The TITAN ins a 150mm travel big wheeled 29r bruiser, and the RUNE is a 160mm 650b trail slashing machine... take your pick, see you in the INCEPTION SPEED SHOP! PS... don't forget about the rest on Banshee's kick ass rigs too! Here is your chance to start a #MOREAWESOMER winter build project with Select Evil Frames and builds on discount. HIGHLIGHT BIKE BUILD THE FOLLOWING MB Pretty much the perfect trail bike for our region. Run a 120 to 140 fork on this sports car bike, or get a little more rowdy by tossing in a angleset and dropping the headangle into the 65degree range. It will climb, it will haul ass on the trails and it makes a great play bike at Blue mountain too! Builds from 26lbs and up, with a perfect trail build weight of 29-30lbs, this is the one bike you can have in you stable and ride it anywhere, anytime! THE WRECKINING... as it has been stated before... a true Monster Truck on Wheel. Don't let its size fool you, with a low bb, tight Rear end and adjustable angles this thing can take on DH Trails and still ride all day epics up and down the mountain. THE CALLING... this is one of my favorites. 650b wheels make this rig uber playful. But, toss on a 29r frotn end to Mullet it up and you have a very cabable machine. The playfulness of the 650b, and the confidence making awesomeness of the 29r front. LETS MAKE YOUR 2020 ride season a #RIDEMOREAWESOME seasonDrop in to chat about how we can turn any of these bikes in to the perfect machine for your riding style and destinations..... the #INCEPTIONSPEEDSHOP awaits!
It is back, it is day one, and here are the details. 30 Days of April aka #30daysofbiking is an pledge to ride your bike every day in April and share your adventures with the hashtag #30daysofbiking. Beyond that, it is an encouragement to ride, get ready for the season ahead, inspire others and to also be a Fundraiser for the World Bicycle Relief fund. I encourage everyone to try and donate something to support the cause. In addition to that, I will put up a tasty something to a randomly selected participant who logs a ride every day in April on STRAVA/Garmin/Instagram Post etc. This tasty something will help you continue your riding efforts into May and beyond. So here is how it works. 1. Shoot me an email/text/insta message (something) that you are intend to try and ride all 30 Days 2. Ride your bike, a bike, every day 3. Log the Ride on Strava/Garmin Connect some way to show you had a ride everyday (even if you just manually upload a silly ride that shows you rode that day) 4. Tag @inceptioncyclery and #30daysofbiking in any adventure posts or ride data for the ride... spread the word! 5. Have fun with it.... sometimes you have to improvise... FLEX HOURS.... What are they? In Short, A more convenient service OPTION for you and Your Bike!2/14/2019 New for 2019 are FLEX HOURS. Really it is just a one word shot to describe both MOBILE Repair and Bicycle pick-ups during the shops "Off" hours.
What can you have done in FLEX HOURS off site (aka your house, your work, road side, trail head....)?? LOTS! 2019 is here, and it is time to help everyone ride More Awesomer. To do that I have expanded the available hours for you to book in service at the shop.
There are still the regular drop in, chat cycling (over a coffee), drop off your bike or book a quick service repair hours, but now you have the ability to drop off earlier and later, or to even book a quick service or tune up repair on the spot and on your time. Those are the "FLEX"hours. Within those flex yours you can book in on the spot repairs before and in some cases after regular shop hours, or I can meet at the shop for you to drop off your bike at a convenient time for you. Simply follow the "BOOK" buttons across the various avenues (website, facebook, instagram, google) and you decide what you want done and when. But it won't stop there... Later into the season there will be the added "MOBILE" option. During those flex hours you can have the shop visit you on location to complete your tune-up or repairs, and/or have your bike picked-up and transported to the shop. With the new Online Booking you can also...
So, bring on the new year, and lets make sure everyone rides more often, and rides #moreawesomer too! If you have been following along on Facebook and Instagram, then you are fully aware that the shop has made her move to a new long term location at 140 Welland ave in St.Catharines. The space is 90% complete, but is in full operation If you have not been following along... well now you know. Back into St.Catharines, new space, new feel, all bike shop! The service bar is back, a great little lounge to hang out in and the shop is littered with classic memorabilia, photos and lots of vintage trinkets. So drop in on a ride for adjustments, or to hang out and visit. Bring your bike inside with you, there are a few racks to store it while we have a chat at the bike bar! See you in there! |
